About Me
I love photography and running. I finished a half marathon In April and am spending time working on running and my general fitness so I can achieve a better time in my next marathon. While training I did crazy things like getting up on a Saturday morning and running in 10 degree weather and the snow. But I am amazed at what I can do when I am prepared and try. I like a challenge. I was training for another half, but am now working through an injury. It is not easy and can be frustrating, but has shown me that sometimes we need to slow down and take a break..
I lived in Japan for several years and have traveled quite a bit. I really appreciate the life that I have been given. I have met many wonderful and beautiful people in this world. But I love home and love Saint Louis. It has so much to offer.
I also spend a fair amount of time volunteering. I have worked for the past several years as a once a week staff person at a homeless shelter. It is not an easy job and is sometimes emotionally and physically draining. But the rewards and relationships make it all worth it.
What I'm Looking For
I like someone with an open mind and sense of humor. I also like someone who can hold a conversation. We can see where it goes from there. Sometimes what you are looking for is not necessarily what you need.
