About Me
When we first meet, you may think I have a disability. I prefer to see it as an ability to deal with a challenge in a positive way, proving more to myself than to others that I am capable of achieving anything I desire, as long as I put forth the faith, effort, and ambition. Success is a state of mind, not a destination.
I have many interests, so I know we can find some common ground. I am a big fan of movies, such as “Rudy,” “Saving Private Ryan,” and “Speed.” Music is a big part of my life, too, and I enjoy Nickelback, Boston, REO Speedwagon, Brooks and Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Kiss, and AC/DC. I like country and classic rock, but am not too keen on rap and hip hop.
Like I said, I do have a slight disability, but that in no way impairs my ability to live a rich and full life. I work hard and give my all, not only in professional endeavors but in my personal life, as well. Giving 100% is merely a baseline effort for me. I strive to continually exceed that output. In fact, I was born three months’ premature with no expectation of surviving. Even in my infancy, I rose to the challenge and beat the odds. God has a plan for those with faith. When you believe and trust in the Lord, a very great plan awaits you…beyond your wildest imagination. God is slowly, but surely, revealing that to me, and part of that plan includes the love of one special woman.
I have worked tenaciously in all endeavors in my life, even enjoying a successful wrestling career. I don’t ask for favors. I don’t need the rules bent. I do what I have to do on my own initiative just as anyone else. I work hard to achieve my goals. I am undeterred by challenges. Where others see stumbling blocks, I see stepping stones.
I have no disability, just the ability to overcome odds and to champion my own personal efforts. When others did not seem to believe in me, I made them believers. Where others saw the impossible for me, I made things possible. My wish is to find that one special girl who fully accepts me for all that I am, without judgment. The only expectations I can expect her to have of me are that I will always endeavor to be the best I can be in all of my efforts. Just as I have taken a chance on pushing through my disability, I hope that one special lady will take a chance on me. I’ve tasted victory against the odds, and it’s pretty sweet. If you are willing to put forth the effort towards achieving something extraordinary with me, I am, too.
What I'm Looking For
What I admire most in a match is one who enjoys a solid career, living with a go-giving heart, giving back to her community and to the ones she loves. Her genuine kindness and compassion for others is always visible in her thoughts, words, and actions.
I hope to meet a girl who is honest, kind, and decent. She is educated and driven. Her desire to create a loving and lasting relationship with a special guy doesn’t allow her to play games or mess with someone’s heart. She is open to hearing her guy regularly tell her, “I love you.”
