About Me
Old hippie. Moved to Ok from FL to be near oldest son and family. Second of eight children born to Army Staff Sgt and wife. Papa passed 3 months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. I have 2 living children, 7 grachildren and the 6th great-grandchild due in about 5 months. Although turning 60 this year, I neither look nor act my age. I am a voracious reader and crochet for pleasure. I despise liars and thieves. I have no use for those that will not help themselves. I am very independent and can be stubborn at times, but also very laid back - at least 95% of the time. I believe communication is one of the most important things in a relationship, being only behind love as the first component for a lasting relationship. I have been widowed for 2 1/2 years and want to start again with a new man by my side. I don't need anyone who is dependent, crass or a junkie. I am a firm believer in God but am not a Bible-thumper. I spent 8 years hitchhiking the country back when it was safe to do so and God rode with me all the time. I enjoy fishing, camping, dancing and quiet evenings at home. Someone who knows what he wants out of life. I would prefer he be laid back as opposed to hyper.
