About Me
I'm not very good with this. It seems somewhat narcissistic to tell everyone how great you are, but then how else are you supposed to catch a fish?
About me:
I have served almost 10 years with the United States Army before an injury led to my medical discharge. I am now a civilian again currently working as a sales and marketing specialist.
In addition to my current professional life I am actively writing and developing material for motivational and life coaching purposes. I am an active member in the local Toastmasters club as well as a couple of other civic service organizations. This consumes the majority of my time which leaves little for the typical bar scene.
I enjoy outdoor activities and am an avid reader. My latest athletic endeavors involve the extreme footraces and mud runs like the Warrior Dash. I am a nature lover and environmental causes are near and dear to my heart. I am always seeking to grow and learn something new. I will try anything twice. Once to see if I like it and again just to make sure. I try to live life with as few regrets as possible and am always up for an adventure.
I have trained in various martial arts since I was 12 and it continues to play an important role in my life though I have no dreams of being a cage fighter anytime soon.
I love animals and frequently spend time at the local no-kill cat shelter and try to help out every chance I get...and yes I am a cat person.
I am full of useless knowledge and great partner to have in a game of Trivial Pursuit. I am always a child at heart and love to explore, learn, and grow.
I consider myself to be very spiritual though not religious.
