Yes I am looking for a friend first. I believe that all good things begin with a friendship.
I like to do varied activities and think it is really important to find someone who is at least partially independent. Understanding that we both have our own lives and when we are together we have a life together. Would like to find someone who understands and values their own time as well as “couples” time.
Someone who is romantic at heart is important. Those glances and touches are important. As well as letting the other person know how much you care for him. Being able to tell him how important he is in your life. Those glances you share when walking out the door in the morning for work which tells each other that you’re the most important person in the world. Those are traits he should possess.
I think that it is important for us each to share equally in the things we do in keeping a home. When we get to that point, it is important for both of us to share equally on things pertaining to the house. We would both need to understand that we both bring strength and weaknesses to our relationship but both of us share equally when it comes to getting things done.
I would also like someone who places me at or near the top of the pecking order in priority with major emphasis on family. Family is important but have to remember that your partner is the one that you’re going to share your life with so being with him is of major importance and finding time to do things with him is certainly an valuable endeavor.
