About Me
I cherish my family and close friends – my most valuable possessions on earth. My core values come from my small town Nuremburg upbringing and my tolerance and compassion for others from traveling the world for my entire adult life. Most Americans have no clue of how lucky and blessed we are. We need to appreciate our lot in life.
I was Born in Nuremburg, Germany I moved to Cupertino California in 1970, where I graduated form Monta Vista High in 1973..In the fall of 1977 I went to the University of Alaska Fairbanks where I graduated from the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering with a degree in 1981. I also enjoy good wine and lived in Sonoma California for 3 years as a professional Engineer. For the last 26 years I have been working as a Consulting Engineer. I've been divorced nearly 5 years. I have 2 grown daughters who lives with my mother in Nuremburg, Germany.
I love kids and welcome someone else's into my life, but I do not want to create more at this point. I love holding hands and doing just about anything together. I’m a good communicator and a good listener and I love stimulating and friendly conversation. I believe tough issues need to be addressed head on, resolved, and then move on. After hearing each other out, I am OK with agreeing to disagree. “I was wrong”, “I’m sorry” and “forgive me” are foundation phrases in a successful loving relationship.
No way do I want to change you - it will never work. And I can't make another person happy – happiness only comes from within. I can make a happy person more content by adding loving companionship and rich experiences to their life. I have a low tolerance for drama and no tolerance for mind games or lies. These are destructive and wasteful of precious time.
I seek mutual respect and admiration from my mate. Smiling eyes are the barometer of a relationship and I believe that keeping a smile on your mate’s face should be a top priority. If you can do that, the rest will fall into place naturally. A little humor and not sweating the small stuff go a long way. I would never ask for anything I am not ready to give back 100%.
Live like you’re dying. I want to wake up every day being thankful for just being here, then do my best to make it a great day. I'm fortunate to be living my childhood dream of Engineering and seeing the world. I have owned The Complete Service Bureau which is dedicated to providing companies large and small with marketing support services for Contact Data Management and it's turning into an exciting adventure. I’m passionate about my work and play and I’m looking for a romantic and adventurer who will share their exciting life with mine. Two dreamers hand-in-hand on the same path are 10 times more powerful than one.
