About Me
I’m a very laid-back and easy-going individual. I spent half my life in school and the other half working. I’m emotionally and financially secure, carry no baggage, and have learned the difference between love and lust, passion and fanaticism, faith and fraud, & honesty and diplomacy. I’ve also learned that that the only way to truly win an argument, is to avoid it, and that if you really want true-blue friends, then you have to first be a true-blue friend. I’ve been hurt, but I’ve learned that not everyone hurts, and I’ve learned that to move forward, you can’t focus on the past. I’ve also learned that if you set your mind to it, you can achieve almost anything in this life. Travel is one of my passions and I hope to see a lot more of this world in the very near future. Sailing the Pacific in a catamaran off the coast of Waikiki while watching the sunset, then having dinner at a five-star restaurant probably tops my list. However, I also like the simple pleasures in life and enjoy a very wide range of activities. A quiet dinner and a good movie, or an out-door concert in the summer are high on my list. So are watching the English Premier League. Day trips, dinning out at a new restaurant, or attending the theaters are some other great activities I enjoy. I’m also open to new ideas and can have fun at almost anything. But, I’m a much disciplined person when it comes to finances, career, health and diet.I believe that the best relationships take time and start out as friends. A journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step. Could having a cup of coffee be that first step? Watching the sun set in the Caribbean one day made me realize that life is too short to spend it without that someone special. I’m not seeking the most gorgeous woman on the planet, but rather someone that's gorgeous on the inside - and someone I'm compatible with. There are a few qualities that are essential, such as honesty, integrity, faith, a positive outlook on life and strong sense of responsibility, most everything else is negotiable. I'm not interested in dating a lot of women. I don't have that much free time. So, if I've contacted you or you've somehow managed to stumble across my profile in this section of cyberspace, maybe we spend a few minutes together and see what happens. What I'm Looking For
do I look for in a woman? Physical attraction on both sides is essential, but I do not weigh looks any more or less than personality, goals, morals,etc. I would like to find a woman who stands strong next to me. Not behind me or in front of me. A person who will not run away when things get tough, but rather hangs in there and together we solve the problem because we both know that the alternative of not being together is simply not acceptable a true "relationship woman". I know this is a very difficult person to find, but it is the type of woman I am looking for.. But first and foremost we move slow and as friends, the rest will happen if it is going to happen.
