About Me
In my own words, I am perceived to be pretty. I love to have a good conversation. I would like to meet someone who is not afraid to break down the barriers we all put up. I am attracted to very articulate and intelligent men. I also love to laugh, so if a man can make me laugh, that is a big plus. I am more or less a loner, but prefer to be with that special person. I tend to keep to myself and I like a man who does the same, that is, not feel like he has to be the life of the party and always on, unless he has a special way in a crowd. It's hard to describe my perfect match since I try to choose my words very carefully. I like very masculine men. A man that is sure enough in himself to express whatever he prefers. I love a guy in jeans and a tee shirt. I prefer a man who does not date around. I am a one man woman and seeking a one woman man to share each day with. Family is important, but if every Sunday is reserved for "their day, for family barbecues or events, I should be welcome, or it just doesn't work for me. I like to be told I look nice once in a while, especially if I took the time to prepare for a special date (I would do the same). I like to do things together, cook, take a drive and go exploring, talk about whatever, you get the picture. I do not want to meet a man that feels like if he swears, it makes his words more powerful. I avoid smokers and if your a guy that likes to have a beer everyday or need alcohol to have a good time, please keep searching, as I don't drink, smoke or use drugs. Is there such a thing as a perfect match? I haven't decided. I think practice makes better, not perfect. I don't need perfection, just someone that is always striving to get the relationship right. I am a caretaker and I would want a man to take care of me too. I like to dress very feminine most of the time. I am not the sneakers and sweats type, only to walk my dogs or go hiking, camping, etc. I would want him to be well read enough to play Jeopardy, and have an intelligent conversation. I also prefer someone that is not too conservative. I like motorcycles, but I am not a biker chick. Love all kinds of music except country. Prefer the jazz-rock genre. Enjoy going to a nice cozy restaurant all dressed up or in jeans. I have 2 sons 24 & 26, and a 7 year old grandson. I am good natured and slow to anger, and I'm told I have a fun sense of humor, but I consider myself to be a bit cynical. I don't like a man with a bad temper or a chip on his shoulder. I want to be able to talk to him about anything and I also want him to tell me how HE feels. I am a good listener and would want the same treatment. I also love to have good stimulating conversations. If were out having dinner, we should be talking and getting to know one another. Sitting in silence or talking on a cell phone is a turn off. Appearances are important, but he does not have to look like a model, just George Clooney..ooops. Basically, I would like to find a kind, strong, sensitive, animal loving, caring and funny guy. I have to add that I like a man that is good with his hands and can fix things.
