hello, Background: I am a professional, interesting, intelligent divorced Christian woman.
I do not believe in the practice of attending the night club life in order to meet someone.
I have interest abound, abundant traveling is not one of them. The people who have greatly influenced my life are God, and his scripture. My educators, and peers have invested their time in me. They have allowed me to consider divergent point of views, and allow my self to adopt new attitudes that would inspire my creativity.
All types of music, can instill warmth and happiness, positive feelings flow from my being.
Adopting healthy attitudes for myself and loved ones is also a focus.”

What are you looking for in a partner?
Respect. Show me through your actions that you respect my opinions, career, interests, friends, bodies and minds. You don't have to agree with all that I say or do, but try to honor my opinions as valuable contributions.
Time. One understand relationships can't be all wine and roses; simply making the time to be with me and treating me like your top priority says "love" more than all the fancy gifts and lovely letters ever could. This includes helping around the house. The realities of a 21st-century relationship are that both partners probably work. If you happen to get home before I do, why not take vacuum the living room or throw in a load of laundry? If you take the garbage out without being asked, chances are you'll be getting a big ole smooch when you come back.
Honesty: What women want from men, also, is honesty. Unfortunately, this is another topic that is often misunderstood. What women want from men is not a detailed life history or a play-by-play accounting of your day. In reality, it is much simpler. When you make a statement, say what you mean and mean what you say. When answering a question, be truthful. What women want from men is this kind of clear, straightforward honesty.
Communication: Another important aspect of what women want from men is communication. It is not necessary to become nervous about this topic. You may hear about women who enjoy putting much of their free time into sharing their feelings. The fact is most women do not consider this to be an essential part of a date or a relationship. Instead, communication as basic exchanging of ideas, thoughts, plans, and information, is what women want from men. Remember communication plays a big role in relationships.
I'd just like to add...
Romance. It's another night on the couch with take-out and TiVo? Just because we're staying in doesn't mean the evening can't be romantic. Light a few candles and see where the night leads. Treat us like your girlfriend, even after we become your wife. Date nights, making out in the car, kissing like when we first started dating—all of the things that made us fall in love with you don't have to stop just because now there are bills to pay, a house to be cleaned. Bring home flowers for no reason. We're not talking $100 bouquets of roses here. Even the $10 bouquets from the supermarket are enough to make us smile.
Communication. Women are vocal creatures. We know you love us, but it's nice to hear you say it, too. We can also be insecure. We wish we weren't, but the reality is that we often notice our wobbly thighs and forget about our gorgeous eyes. So let us know when you think we're hot. Tell us we're beautiful. It helps us feel good. Plus, when we feel sexy we're more likely to act sexy. I like words of appreciation. Thank us for small usually unacknowledged favors. It doesn't have to be over the top, just let us know that you see the effort we put in, and you're grateful.
Now that I've got that out of the way, I feel like it's the perfect time to mention that a sense of humor is an absolute MUST in any guy of mine. I would like my future "best friend" (Yes, that IS ultimately what I'm looking for, a best friend) to be honest, kind, have a strong sense of who he is, love Jesus, and have most of his teeth. See.... I AM funny! I guess my friends were right. : )
I should probably mention I'm a bit old-fashioned when it comes to dating. I like to be treated like a lady (even if we're fishing or horseback riding) and I appreciate when a guy opens the door for me, is the first to call, and initiates advancing the relationship. Okay, so I stole part of that from a sample profile I saw, but I liked it and it fit!
