About Me
I really like going on adventures with people. Not real adventures, but mini-adventures to anywhere unfamiliar. It doesn't necessarily have to be anywhere far away, it could be anywhere... a different city, a different mall, a different Target... anywhere new as long as it's with someone close, walking around making funny comments on the things we see.
I hate saying that "I love to laugh", because, honestly, who doesn't? Then I realized that some people prefer to put on a a cool or hard image, so I guess there really are some people who don't care much for laughing. I, on the other hand, find lots of little things in life funny. I wouldn't call myself a particularly funny person, but jokes and funny situations are constantly running through my head even at the most inappropriate times. I've got a pretty dry and sarcastic sense of humor most of the time. I just like walking around making observations about things. If you want a good idea of my sense of humor, you'd probably appreciate it if you also happen to enjoy The Office or The Simpsons.
I really like playing sports! I'm terrible at all of them, but I really really really like playing them. I also really like videogames, computers, and other nerdy things unfortunately. I'm interested in politics too, which really isn't helpful in making me less of a nerd though.
I picked up snowboarding and surfing partially because it's a lot of fun, but mostly because it makes me feel cooler... And that's the most important thing about hobbies, right? That they make you FEEL cooler...? Aside from all the injuries, terrifying moments, and awkward situations where I'm being cursed at by people better than me, I guess the experience is still worth it.
I also try to exercise and go to the gym at least a couple times a week. I don't mind trying out new things. I figure anything that hides the nerd within can only be a good thing.
I'm also a Christian. I'm not gonna use this space to preach or anything, but you should probably know that it's an important part of who I am.
What I'm Looking For
I'm open to who I'm looking for. As long as we've got religious compatibility and chemistry, I think the interests are less important. It would be nice if we shared some interests, but if we don't, I'm still open to meeting.
