About Me
I am a full time student, working toward a nursing degree. I just finished my first year successfully and was recently accepted into the nursing program. I should have done it fresh out of high school but I'm a late bloomer. :) In addition to school I work part time for the local school system.
My ipod is one of my prized possessions because it brings me so much joy. I have a wide variety of music on it, bluegrass to hip hop and anything in between. A song with good meaningful lyrics is the greatest.
I don't consider myself old fashioned at all and sometimes get annoyed at the attitudes of my peers. My views tend to be quite liberal. For the most part I refuse to discuss politics. I have my opinions but don't feel the need to push them on anyone else.
I love getting in the car on a nice warm day and taking a drive through the country with the windows down. Better still, I love getting on the back of a motorcycle and riding! I hope to someday get my motorcycle license and have a bike of my own.
My ideal vacation is a laying on a beach, basking in the warmth of the sun and cooling down in the ocean. I love the feel of sand beneath my feet, the sound of waves crashing on the shore, and the smell of sunscreen in the air.
I enjoy nights out with a few drinks and a decent band or perhaps even a little karaoke. I enjoy nights in, snuggled on the couch with a good movie and some popcorn just as much.
One of my favorite (and free) summertime activities is building a fire in the pit on my patio, hooking my ipod up to my Bose speakers, and having a drink or two with a good friend.
Sense of humor is vital. My family tends to have a quirky sense of humor and I love it. I love to laugh and I believe it is essential for the soul.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone who will be my best friend as well as my partner and lover. I am tired of games and lies and want someone who is upfront an honest.
