About Me
I've only recently started really talking to people. Actually, I have a friend standing over my shoulder as I'm writing this. She says I need to put myself out there, so here I am.
I'm getting better about meeting people, and more outgoing than I have been in the past. I'm pretty easy-going, and I have a wide variety of interests.
I'm big into video games and movies. My favorite genres include horror/thriller, comedy, sci-fi, sometimes romance or drama. Music is a big part of my life. I love listening to it, along with playing it. I listen to a lot of rock and electronic, sometimes contemporary. Most of it is Indie, bands like the Postal Service. I also like a few bands that do a lot of contemporary, like Death Cab for Cutie and Iron and Wine. As far as playing music, my main instrument is flute, and I play saxophone, piano, and guitar. I'd like to pick up more on guitar.
I haven't dated many people. I've mostly stuck to dating girls, but I'd like to try something new. My longest relationship has been two years, which is a reeeally long time for me. I normally like casual dating. If it goes any further than that, cool. But mostly just casual for me.
I love art, whether it's drawing, painting, or writing. I've recently started working on more realistic styles. I usually do a lot of fiction writing from short stories to poetry. Most of my stuff is up on dA, one of my favorite online art communities.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for someone laid back and easy-going. If you're a gamer, that's a plus, too. It's a little hard to say exactly what I'm looking for. Someone not too clingy, but not completely distant. I've had both ends, and neither really ends well. I normally don't go just off of interests either--too much alike has as many downsides as not having anything in common, though I'd like someone I can kind of relate to.
