Well ,you see, I found this slipper at the dance and was wondering if it was yours?
I wish it was that simple, going from door to door looking at feet.
Me:
I have a deasent head of hair, most of my teeth, fairly good vision and so so hearing. No tats ,piercing or major deformities. No dug or gambling issues. Am healthy and disease free. Have a stable job and looking foward to retirement. ( if the lottery pans out). Own a home and do not live with my mom (but will take care of her someday). I have not been featured on the "People of Wall Mart" website (more than one time). Have great neighbors and active lifestyle. cook, clean, do laundry and prepair my own taxes. Some days I must put down open rebellion within the kingdom, but know how to restore the peace with hugs and gas money. I'm the guy that you see to borrow a tool or to help fix something. . Professionally, I have had the opportunity to be involved with large scale technical projects all over the world. My career has afforded me the privilege to interface with extremely well educated, creative people with diverse backgrounds. In my single days I left few stones unturned, ran hard and turned in late. I lived overseas for many years and saw the elephant. I have no desire to return to that place or time. Married life of 19 years suited me very well. Enjoyed the stability and satisfaction of achieving mutual goals. My children are the most wonderfull gift my partner ever gave me. Being serious is required keep the day to day wheels turning, but when I'm off the clock life is very light and fun. We can discuss string theory, hydro dynamics or the current debt crises, but I am more interested in your most embarrassing moment in grade school. If you dent my fender I don't flip out.
Were to find me:
Not in a bar, that is for sure. Look for me on my back deck chillin, high school bleachers cheering or the kitchen making homemade pizza. My sons have been my full time activity for the last 18 years and we have had some big adventures with lots of lafeter and fun. But now they are finding new circles and old dad is not part of the equashion. In fact I like seeing them head out on their own.
You:
Simplicity, honesty, dependability and accountability. That is it! Lots of smiles, upbeat and happy will seal the deal.
Your kids, your ex , your family , your friends or your pets will not pose a threat to me. I'm very confordable with who I am, where I'm from and what I have accomplished so far.

What I like:
Sun and hot weather. being on the water and sand between my toes is the best. Cookouts (I'll make the coleslaw). I like a construction project.
Being in my kitchen preparing finger foods for friends or family that are coming over to hang out. The music will be loud and wine will be served.
Renting a big house at the beach and filling it with laughing family, friends, dogs or even strangers. Hay that's how I got to meet Ted Kaczynski. Fun story. (Kidding)
Going down to beach at night with flashlights. People with a fun intelligent sense of humor .
Been to Italy, and I totally get it. Sitting in a café on the plaza, ice cold Perini, and watching people. The sound of a fountain there is like a dream . That's the vibe that makes me tick.
The smell of sawdust , fresh cut grass and wood smoke. The color of the ocean in the Bahamas. The sound of the ice cream truck 2 blocks away and the rumble of thunder at 2 in the morning.
Auctions and yard sales. Museums, galleries and junkyards. Frank Loid Wright, da Vinci, and Monet.
Community theater, comedy preferred, musicals or a classic (waiting for Godot). Never cared much for Rent, but dig La bohème done in Italian.
Mixed doubles in tennis ( a good net guy), golf (good at driving, cart), fly fishing (kiss and release)singing to the radio (I rock).
Sporting events where I know somebody playing. Little dogs and little kids. OBX and the Sunday paper.
Live music. All types of music. Name it, I bet I've heard it, and if not, I want to. Movies like Christmas Vacation, Nacho Lebrea, True Lies, Ben Hur (that's what she said). Any reality show that has to use subtitles for the folks speaking English. Now that just that makes me feel good about me.
What I don't like:
Do not like cold wet weather. Snakes, (I'll scream like a girl). Lack of manners at the table. Dogs that are tied outside. Stupid, crude or racist jokes. I do not like the cops at my house. I do not like people who are mean.
