I am an easy going casual gentleman who likes to laugh and enjoys the company of pleasant people.
I write poetry of a philosophical nature, not arty.
I have a quick wit, but never demeaning. I believe that being able to communicate about anything without anger is essential. I am caring, compassionate, romantic, thoughtful, insightful, nurturing, supportive, inspirational, but not egotistical. I am looking for someone who likes to laugh, and is outgoing and pleasant to be around. Someone who is not afraid to speak her mind and can do it without anger.

For beautiful eyes in which to stare
And see the look of love and care
As I run my fingers through her hair
and whisper softly, I love you
For beautiful lips to place a kiss
And lose myself in pleasant bliss
Passionate moments I sorely miss
And to whisper softly, I love you
For a soft hand that I can hold
Encouraging words that make me bold
Sympathetic ears to stories told
As I whisper softly, I love you
For a warm frame to share my bed
To stop the loneliness that I dread
To see her smile at what Ive said
When I whisper softly, I love you
For these things I patiently wait
I want them to be
