About Me
I’m just a run of the mill 26 year old firefighter, I love what I do and take appreciation in the little things in life that most people take for granted. I normally work two 24 hour shifts a week giving me 5 days off, so I’m looking for someone to spend some of that off time with.
As many others I have had my heart broken but I’m still fighting the good fight. I am also a bit of a poet and have published quite a few of my pieces online. I have a good sense of humor and really looking for someone who has a great one as well. I also enjoy cooking, especially cooking for others.
I’m a little clumsy at times but I just laugh it off, you can't hear the world laugh at you if you are laughing louder. My musical tastes include 80's rock, metal and pretty much anything with a good beat, favorite big name band Metallica, I also enjoy Irish rock by my favorite local band the Blaggards. I do enjoy to do karaoke my best song is the Devil Went Down to Georgia.
I eventually plan to take the next step as a medic and get my paramedic so I can increase my knowledge and make myself more useful to the community I serve. One of the things I enjoy the most is being outdoors, I love camping with friends and family. My family is a big part of my life and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I’m more of an old school romantic the flowers on a date kind of guy, I can be the perfect gentleman and I respect women and treat them as they should be. Some women always say that there are no more good and decent men left in the world, so I’m here to say we are not gone. We still exist and all we want is a chance to prove it. What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a sweet woman who knows how to treat a man (I’m not saying you have to worship the ground I walk on or nothing stupid like that), more along the lines of just respect, honesty, and every once in a while give me space (even if it’s just going out to the pub for a couple beers with the guys). I’m not a cheater and I will trust you when you go out with the girls, so is it so hard for you to put that same kind of trust in me? I’m a caring guy who is not afraid to show a sensitive side around other people. I am a very affectionate person but I’m not the jealous type, I enjoy cuddling while watching a movie or just for no reason at all other than just spending time next to and holding that special someone. Mostly I just want someone to appreciate me for what I am rather than what I’m not.
