About Me
I love to read, be out of doors, and veg out in front of the TV. I'm passionate about the environment and conservation efforts. Actually I majored in environmental science and am hoping to get a job with a government agency within the state of CT (though I'm not holding my breath in this economy). My fave TV shows include Scrubs, Life (way underrated and prematurely cancelled show), Dexter, Weeds, The Tudors, The Mentalist, Supernatural, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and others. For movies, I love just about everything except sadistic slasher films (e.g. Saw and Hostel... but I love zombie flicks and supernatural horror just as much as the next guy). Also love my comedians. (Craig Ferguson, Steve Byrne, and Lewis Black for starters). Fave foods: my palate isn't particularly refined...I'm a serious junk food junkie. Love my cheeseburgers and fries, pastries, chips, sugared soda and juice, and candy. But in my defense, I also love fresh fruit...my favorite thing is going apple, peach, and strawberry picking when they're in season. There's other foods I love, too, but these are the basics. I'm currently, and frustratingly, job-hunting at the moment. Apply, interview, wait for the rejection call/email, repeat. Yay...I have a part-time retail job, but that's not exactly what I want to be doing with my life. More of a temporary, just barely pays the bills job. I'm also taking a class that I hope with help my chances in the job market. Fingers crossed!!
What I'm Looking For
Just someone nice. Someone I can click with and just be myself around. I want to share things I love and experience new things too. Kinda tough to sum up, but there it is, short and sweet and over-simplified. :)
