My name is Eddie. I am a 37yr old divorced single white male. I am 5'8" 175lbs with average looks and an average build. I say average being realistic but think I am attractive and am happy with myself. A non smoker and light drinker. College educated and professionally employed. No children of my own but I do like them and am open to having them if the right person comes along.
I have a wide variety of interests which vary with my mood. I enjoy everything from art to science. I am an avid historian and have always wanted to go to a renaissance festival or even Highland games. I try to hit a lot of the reenactment activities in Saint Augustine and Olustee also. Oh did I mention I am a light house fanatic?
Having a long background in public safety I volunteer my services as an amateur radio operator and Skywarn storm spotter with our county emergency management agency. We do everything from staffing the Emergency Operations Center to working with our county medivac / fire suppression helicopter. I also donate time to the division of forestry and sit in a fire tower one day a week.
I am an avid reader and love just about all types of movies and music. I have a pretty eclectic taste and it changes quite a bit. I listen to everything from POP to Classical and even like New Age.
All in all I consider myself to be a good guy. A bit on the dorky nerdy side. I am hard working and honest. I don't believe in games and expect the same. Communication and trust are a big part of making things work. I am not looking for a one night stand but rather someone to date and see where it goes from there.
