About Me
I'm easy to figure out: I'm a homebody who prefers a movie or a walk instead of the bar scene because, hey, that shite got old ten years ago. I do like to go see live music sometimes, on the rare occasion there is a band worth going to see. Otherwise, a big night out is likely to consist of several stops for coffee, perhaps a reading, lecture, or art exhibition, then going to a bookstore to look for things you know they don't have and to mock most of what they do. If you really want to get into my pants you can take me to Waffle House at the end of the night ... and that is a day for me.
I read, I write, I play guitar very poorly, I like old jazz and bands that broke up ten years ago, I will ramble about creative writing programs for far too long, I read Catcher in the Rye once a year, and recently I went shopping for some philosophy books and came back with The Complete Peanuts by Charles Schulz ... and I still think I made the right choice.
Like I said, I'm easy; if I tell you I like you, I like you, even if I am staring off into space thinking about poetry or old episodes of Thunderbirds. I am really smart when it comes to a very, very small number of nearly useless things, and oblivious to everything else, so if you are trying to tell me something with any degree of subtlety I am probably missing what you are saying; I much prefer for people to simply tell me what they are trying to tell me, no matter how trivial or complex.
Also, with a great passion I hate Grey's Anatomy and Jersey Shore. That's right, I said it ... come get me America.
What I'm Looking For
Honestly, I'm looking for someone who can just tolerate all that stuff in the "about me" section of this profile. Really. And as a pointer, the sexiest thing in the world is a person who is comfortable in their own skin or confident enough to be who they want to be, regardless of what their Mom or psychic or therapist think. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about crazy, but crazy needs to have a stability of its own.
Also, girls who read comic books or draw sort of turn me on ... but so does Princess Leia hair, so take that for what it is worth.
