About Me
Life should be fun, and it's more fun if you have the right person to share it with. I know what I want, I just haven't found it yet.
I'm not so good at describing myself so I asked some friends for their opinion and this is what they came up with: funny, genuine, generous, loyal, caring, kind and trustworthy. I would also add affectionate, romantic, and low maintenance. I am a little bit quiet and shy when I first meet someone but once I get comfortable I can talk forever. My life is drama free and like it that way. I am not into playing mind games.
I am very close to my family and would hope that my partner is as well. I think that is important, more so the older I get. My 16 year old daughter who lives with me full time. We are very close and enjoy doing a lot of the same things.
For fun I enjoy going to the movies, amusement parks, The Funny Bone, bowling, football (OSU) and baseball (Reds) games, walking my dog, playing games/cards, watching TV. I am open to trying new things and I think anything can be fun with the right person.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone who posesses at least some of the same qualities as I do. I'd like someone who shares some of the same interests as well, but we don't have to like all of the same things. I love to laugh and have a good time, so a sense of humor is a must. I am looking for a long term relationship but I know these things take time. When I am in a relationship I am fully committed to that person. I believe that honesty, trust, communication and humor are the foundations for a lasting relationship.
While I very much enjoy going to the movies, at this stage of my life I think the ideal first date would be dinner, someplace where we can talk and get to know each other. I think that is more important than sitting in a quiet movie theater for 2 hours, then going home. What will you have learned about each other and how will you know if there is a connection?
