About Me
Hmm, I don't know really what to put. I hate talking about myself, but I guess I'll give it a shot. My name is Joshua, I'm 22 years old, I've lived in the Highland area all my life. I grew up in the country and that's probably where I'll die too. Cities are cool, but I prefer some privacy. Nothing beats a warm summer night sitting outside, listening to the crickets chirp and being able to see every star in the sky. I currently work for the state of Missouri. It's a boring job but it gets the bills paid. I also go to swic full time during the nights. I'm in the administration of justice program, and I should have my associates by the end of 2011. My career choice is to become a cop. I've had mostly long term relationships, one for four years, another was three years, and my most recent one lasted five months. I'm not afraid of commitment, I've had my own place with an ex before and we lived together for two years. I'm currently living back with my parents because I couldn't afford to keep living on my own. I feel I'm very responsible for my age, I don't really do the party lifestyle. Bars aren't really my thing. I'd rather have some close friends together, drinking and sharing stories of good times. I don't really have any hobbies, work and school keep me too busy for that. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for on here. More than anything I'd like to find a good friend that I can tell almost anything, and see where that takes us. I'm like most people, I hate being lonely. I try and see the good in everyone, even if they are mean or what not. I love acting goofy. I've found that if you take life too seriously, you'll just stress yourself out, so I try and make the best of things. My friends would say I'm a jokester, I love making people laugh though. Sometimes my humor is a little sick or perverted, but hey, I'm a guy, what do you expect? I'm open to most music, but rock is by far my favorite. My car radio never leaves 105.7 the point. I'm trying to better myself emotionally, physically, and mentally. I sometimes have a tendency to be emotionless, but I'm working on it. Physically, I've been dieting and working out regularly since march 1st of this year, and I've already dropped almost 40 pounds, so if you see my pictures, chances are if we meet in person I'll be slimmer. I don't really know what else to put at this point, but I do know you shouldn't judge me solely on my looks. I know I'm not drop dead sexy, but I know I'm not the worst looking person either. And I have one final request. If I should happen to message you and your not interested, please be considerate and send me a message saying no thanks. I hate being left hanging, and I'd do that if I wasn't interested in someone who messaged me. So, I guess if there's anything else you want to know, just ask.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for someone smart, is capable of holding a good conversation, someone caring, honest, kind of laid back, someone who shares similar interests. Someone who won't judge me, but rather be beside me doing the same thing. I'm just looking for my best friend.
