About Me
I'm a down to earth type of man(or at least I like to think so) who tries to enjoy the simple things in life. I like to appreciate the small moments in life because I feel that those are the ones that make us who we are in the long run. The only constant in life is change & I have learned to appreciate that at any moment, one’s life can be altered beyond recognition in the drop of a hat. We are but humble beings meant to travel this earth & through our experiences, grow our soul into what it’s destined to become.
I’ve been through enough to know that life has too much to offer to be close-minded, & I am known to listen to any well supported argument & am persuadable if you prove a point with which I agree. If I disagree, I will not argue but may state my different opinion & leave it at that. We’re all entitled to our own opinions, which is a belief that I very strongly support! I believe in having faith & in God, but I am not a fan of organized religion as I find them all too limiting & judgmental despite the fact that they are all very similar at their roots. I understand that we’ve all made mistakes. In essence, though, I feel that an experience is only a mistake if we do not learn the lesson we were meant to find in the process. My ideal woman would feel similarly to all of the above.
My closest friends might say that I can be loud & funny although sometimes a bit crude, but only if I’m comfortable with my surroundings. Otherwise I am quiet & reserved, tending to observe those around me until I am less nervous & more confident on how best to relate to the newcomers in my life. Experience has taught me to be selective with who gets past my outer defensive barriers, but once you are in “the circle of trust,” you will find a very loyal, selfless, caring, compassionate, & true friend/companion.
