About Me
Well I'm a very straightforward person and I tend to say what's on my mind rather than what I think people want to hear and some people are uncomfortable with that. I don't like fake people or people who are easily offended nor do I like people who try to fit into specific groups. Obviously I'm a bit cynical when it comes to society and I have a lot of unconventional but entertaining theories about life. I consider myself an intelligent person but sometimes I think it would be easier to go through life without ever having a single abstract thought. Basically I'm a very laid back guy and I hate drama and I hate fighting about stupid shit. I like to laugh and I have a good sense of humor though sometimes it's a bit dark and offensive for people.
I love music. I've mainly been listening to mellow indie folk bands lately but I like a lot of different stuff. A few of my favorite bands: Fleet Foxes, Iron and Wine, early Black Sabbath, John Frusciante, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Tallest Man On Earth, The Mountain Goats, At the Drive-In, Fugazi, Louie Armstrong, a lot more.
I hate having a boss and find the idea of being subservient to another human being incredibly degrading. I dropped out of college after three years but I plan on finally going back next year. Currently I work fixing up houses but that's not a permanent thing. Ultimately I see myself making money doing something online; I've had a few ventures in the past but nothing that earned me a sustainable income.
Also I eventually want to move out of Michigan to somewhere on the west coast or northwest part of the country. Oregon sounds nice.
What I'm Looking For
Basically I'm just looking for a sweet girl who is her own person and enjoys interesting conversations. My last girlfriend wasn't exactly intellectually stimulating and I've come to realize that that's an important part of a relationship. Also I tend to go for girls who are "cute" rather than "hot." I'm not necessarily looking for someone to get married but who knows. Really I'm not even necessarily looking for a relationship I'd just like to find someone who I have something in common with who I can talk to.
