About Me
I am ready to start the (hopefully) last journey of my life and am in search of a partner to share that journey with.
My interests are varied. I like a wide assortment of life's enjoyable passtimes such as boating, fishing, beaching, walks, gardening, motorcycles, dining out, dancing, etc...
I just haven't had the ability to enjoy ALL of it lately but am willing to do it again and
perhaps other things I haven't thought of even trying yet.
I have 4 children; my last one will graduate next year and fly away leaving my nest
totally empty. I enjoy spending family time together when we can all get together but that is impossible with 2 of my 4 kids in the military and deployed. I babysit my newest granddaughter once a week and love her to death. It's a privilege to spend time with her and know that I'm helping "shape" her into the grownup she'll be one day.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for a man that feels compatible with me; comfortable in being himself around me; who is not looking to always impress me or prove how "great a person" he is. I look for honesty and integrity in a man; someone who stands by their word and believes in himself. I'm not looking for a superman or super-stud or super anything. If we hit it off we'll become those things to each other anyway. I want someone who is self confidant and radiates that quality.
