I personally feel that I shouldn't have to describe my personality. Doing so only leaves a paragraph or so for you to judge based on how high or low my self esteem may be during the moment at which I am asked to describe.That being said I feel, rather then describing your personality, just write whatever comes to mind at the time. That's when someone can see how you truly are. But I digress.
