About Me
I'm a fairly simple man, with simple tastes. All I ask for is a woman who shares my interests and is actually interested in me. I don't want to date someone who doesn't share my interests because....well, that would be kind of a boring relationship. I consider myself a very nice guy. I'm a Christian, but my Christianity is more of a lifestyle than a religion. I don't believe in judging people, because I sure as hell am not perfect. I believe that Christianity is more about helping people and compassion than constantly shoving Jesus down people's throats.
I was once engaged about three years ago, but I've had a string of bad luck with women since then. It's been pretty hard, especially since all my friends are starting to get in serious relationships. I think I'm finally ready to settle down with the right one. I'm sick of women playing games and acting like they can't decide whether they want someone or not. Either you like someone or you don't, it's as simple as that. I just feel like I've wasted enough time as it is.
So that's pretty much the basics. Hopefully I'll find someone on here that's to my liking, and hopefully I'll be to their liking.
What I'm Looking For
I'm a picky person (not to be confused with shallow). I have standards when it comes to women. I am mostly interesting in younger women, as I'm not a big fan of dating a woman that's older than me (I don't know, it's just weird to me). No one younger than 19 though. Even though 18 is considered legal, too much of an age gap is kind of creepy. School/College status is for the most part, irrelevant to me (though graduating high school is kind of a must). I'm a college dropout myself, so I understand the difficulty of college and paying back student loans. I'm trying to get back into school this coming Fall, so hopefully I won't be a dropout for long. I also don't date extremely shallow and stuck up women. I hate country music and anything involved in being "country". This includes mudriding, hunting, big ass pickup trucks, Guy Harvey clothing, and whatever else goes with it. Same goes for "ghetto" people. I refuse to date a white woman who acts like she's black. I just can't stand it when people pretend to be someone else.
Sooo, let's see what else. I'm not interested in a woman with children. Sorry, but I just don't have the desire to help take care of some other guy's kid. I'm not against children or having children, but I would much rather raise a child that is MINE. Sorry if that sounds douchey, but that's just how I feel. I've made exceptions in the past, and it has never worked out for me. I'm not going to lie and say that looks aren't important to me because of course looks are important. If I'm not physically attracted to someone or if I don't find someone attractive at all, then obviously a relationship would never work.
I also would like to date someone who shares my interests because I also believe that a relationship works best when two people have things that they are both interested in. I listen to a lot of different styles of music, but mostly I stay in the range of indie rock, alternative, classic rock (mostly 60's and 70's), progressive rock, indie pop, and other subgenres that I won't go into. I like a lot of movies as well. There's too many to name, so if you want to know, just ask. I'm really into art and culture, and I would like to date someone who's kind of classy, but not snobby. Truth be told, I've always wanted to date a hipster girl, but it's not a requirement.
I'm not much of a partier either. I do drink, but I don't drink just for the sake of getting drunk and acting like an idiot. I don't smoke cigarettes, and I'm not really interested in dating someone who does, though I can make exceptions. Marijuana is no problem, but no hard drugs like heroin or ecstasy. I'm a Christian but I'm not a conservative at all. I believe that Jesus taught us to have compassion and to help other, not condemn people and tell them that they're going to hell. I tend to lean more towards being moderate rather than a full-on liberal. I don't have any tattoos or piercings. I do find tattoos and piercings on women to be attractive, but I think too many can make an otherwise beautiful woman look kind of trashy, my opinion though.

I'm not shallow, I just want someone who I feel like I could make a relationship work. I'm tired of women who play games, and I'm just ready to find someone that I can be happy with.
