About Me
I live in Sheffield. I am finishing an environment-based MSc, and also have qualifications in being a historian. I am also embroiled in writing aconvoluted transgressive novel. I don't know what I'll be doing in 6 months. Let's find out. Music I like: Avant-garde, experimental, jazz, fusion, classical, opera, progressive, extreme metal, folk/rock, punk, noise, drone, doom, EBM, IDM, ambient, psychedelic, industrial, post-rock, etc.
What I'm Looking For
I don't really care what other people do and want as long as they're honest. I'm not looking for anyone specific; I like to be open-minded - usually as long as someone's a decent, funny, intelligent, and interesting person, I can get on with them just fine; shared interests are just a bonus. I like unique people that can challenge me. I like discovery, experience, learning, analysis, honesty, beauty, sounds, words, intensity, passion, love, trust, ideas, understanding, freedom. I don't really like lies or aggression. This is my evolution; stagnation is abhorrent. If you want to just chill out and abstain from all the cerebral stuff then that's all fine too; let's go stare at a tree and talk nonsense together - humour is the best. I don't define myself by my interests and daily-activities, and I hope you don't either :).
