About Me
As many of us are so very tired of these sites, I thought I'd try a new approach. Reality.
I am a strong willed, confident, independent woman who has a great career. I have two adult children who are very successful and whom I am very proud of. I live on my own with my two cats who keep me entertained more than tv or any book can!
I am tired of exchanging conversations with men who think they are about to find the holy grail on the first date. Does it happen, of course. Does it always, no. I've met a fair share of fine men through online dating and many of them are still my friends. That is as important as the holy grail.
I miss laughter. I miss groups of people that I don't work with. I miss long drives to no where. I miss sharing special moments with someone special. I miss bantering about something silly and then laughing about how stupid we were. I miss connection. I miss intimacy. I miss smelling a man's cologne as he kisses me softly on the cheek. I miss having the door opened for me. I miss being courted. I miss spoiling someone other than my children and friends.
The second half of my life is beginning and I don't want to miss out on one single thing. At the same time, I'd love someone by my side.
