About Me
My name is Blake. I'm a college student at Clemson University. I love it there and wouldn't trade it or the friends I made there for anything in the world. I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. I study History and Political Science at Clemson and enjoy debating. I played football in high school and miss it a lot sometimes. I absolutely love the outdoors. I'm an Eagle Scout and I still try to go hiking, fishing, and camping any chance I have. I still like to kick back and read a good novel or play a fun board game when I get the chance though. My favorite sport is by far football. I used to be a huge UGA bulldawg fan but now I'm a tiger and my blood runs orange. I also enjoy the sports of table tennis and fencing. I'm always up for something new.
I am a very confident person. I'm a good guy and I know it. I'm not arrogant but you won't ever find someone who is more positive about themselves than me. I have two sides to my personality, depending on who I'm with. When I am around my friends I'm a bit of a cut-up, I love telling jokes and teasing them (in playful ways of course). The other side I picked up by growing up in a very large military family. In my immediate line, one of my ancestors has fought in every war America has ever been in. In fact, three of them died doing that. Because of this, I am extremely patriotic and do not get along with flag burners (It's fine if you don't like the president but burning the flag is an insult to the nearly 1 million men and women who have died to give you that freedom.) Anyway, my other side is more serious, a bit of the strong silent type.
I am also a very caring person. I'm the type of guy who could never leave a hurt animal on the side of the road. If I see a lost child in a store, I will always help them find their parents. I'm a bit of a southern gentlemen, and I believe in opening doors for ladies and giving your seat to them on a crowded bus or a train. I think chivalry has died in recent decades and I think it is a shame. The world has become way too self absorbed and shallow. I know I can't do anything about people's personalities, so I just try to be the best person I can be.
My friends mean the world to me and I would go to the ends of the earth and back for any of them. Once we're friends, I am a friend until the end. The only way to lose my friendship is to betray my trust or lie about me, as one of my former best friends learned this summer, he unfortunately did both. I'm a very honest guy. Sure, sometimes I slip up but the vast majority of the time, my word is my bond.

What I'm Looking For
I am looking for my vision of a perfect girl. I want her to be someone I can always count on no matter what else happens. I want her to be someone who is incredibly sweet and cares about the people around her. She also has to possess a very large sense of honesty. If she is loyal, trustworthy, and kind I will be thrilled. Also, if you can surprise me with a interesting philosophical view or revelation, I will have a blast talking to you.
