Basics:
I'm a Christian. I have my struggles with life and faith at times (as anyone does) and I've had a lot of hurt recently, but I love God and that's how it's always going to be underneath. I hope you're the same way or it just won't work.
I'm 6'3" and this makes me happy. It puts me in the 95th percentile for the globe.
So far as passions/hobbies are concerned, I am very interested in movies and possibly involving myself in the special effects or production of films, someday.
I enjoy music a great deal (of course, I think most people do. . .) and am just starting to learn to play the guitar.
I wish I was a "renaissance man" who had a good deal of skill in almost every area, unfortunately, I haven't quite made it there, yet. However, that is why I am learning the guitar. . . that and I loved my grandfather very dearly and it's my way of honoring his memory by learning it after him on his old guitar.

I realize that people might think less of me for this next part because it shows how much of a nerd I am, but it's always been a hobby and passion of mine: I design action figures.
Yeah, I said it. . .lol.
Seriously, though, I had an idea on it when I was ten and I decided to make my idea into a reality. Since that time I've been pursuing my project with a great deal of energy. As a result, I've had to teach myself a variety of skills (or simply learn by trial and error.) I've learned everything from sculpture to drawing to air-pressure engineering to the hardest skill I've had to learn: mold-engineering.
I also have a taste for literature (science fiction appeals most to me, personally, but I also have an appreciation for the classics like Poe, Homer, and Shakespeare.)
My taste in music is pretty untraditional for a Christian, I suppose. I like many different artists in most genres of music, but my personal bent is for metal and -most specifically- Metallica.
Beyond Metallica, I'm pretty sure that God sounds like Johnny Cash (not the other way around as in, "Johnny Cash sounds like God". . . nope. God sounds like Johnny. . .lol.)
I have many other musicians that I'm a fan of, but those two are the headliners.
What makes me unique?
I'm secure enough in my masculinity that I don't have to try to prove it by ignoring things. For instance, I can appreciate that there are very good romantic comedy films that have been made, and I don't have to ignore that fact just to satisfy an ego. I accept the fact, and I can happily appreciate either a good chick flick/romcom or one of the goriest, most explosion-filled action movies. No, this doesn't make me a metrosexual.
I like to learn. . . Give me a subject I'm interested in and I'll learn everything there is to know about it to the best of my ability until I've mastered it.
I love the television shows Pawn Stars, Dirty Jobs, and Family Guy; beyond that and Sportscenter I really don't watch television much. Just movies.
I'm interested in politics as much as the politicians themselves might be distasteful. I'm a libertarian conservative, politically.
Beyond that, I'm a Senior in college, and I'm a pretty laid back guy. I like to get to know people and I am a Christian.
I currently work as a server. I'm still working on my project (mentioned in my summary) to this day, and it's only a matter of time before I go into business on it.
What I'm Looking For
As far as what I'm looking for in a woman, I guess I'm looking for someone that I can share everything I have with and that will appreciate me for being me.
I'm kinda shy (in reality) until you get to know me.
Throughout my life I fully expect to do well financially, but what's the point of doing well if you don't have anyone to share it with?
It's always been my firm belief that all the money in the world isn't worth a dime if you don't have someone to share it with you.
In the end, it's all just paper and metal. . . and if there's no one beside you, all the wealth you could ever gain couldn't buy you a moment's happiness or peace.
So that's what I'm looking for. Someone who I can share it all- the ups, the downs, the successes and the failures with. Someone who'll share their life with me, in turn, and who I can appreciate.
I'm looking for a pretty woman (yes, physical good looks matter to me, too) but a woman with a great mind and heart. Preferably a great sense of humor, too, because I love making people laugh when I can.
