Life with me would be relatively quiet. I read and write alot. If you like to read, I have a large book collection (mostly Bible-believing authors). I'm the librarian and videographer for my church. I love my pastor.
I'm very introverted, but I can explain my thoughts and feelings clearly when asked.
I don't make much money, so you will have to have an income. (If you think the man is required to bring in ALL the money, what in the world was the "virtuous woman" doing in Proverbs 31:24?!)
I live in a small apartment with very low rent 2.5 miles from the church building. Your half of the rent will be about $170 a month (All bills paid!).
I'm unashamedly cheap. (Matthew 8:20, 1 Timothy 2:9) One of my favorite shirts was 25 cents at a yard sale. I always buy stuff on sale. BUT I spare no expense for church ministries (Mark 12:41-44, John 12:3), cleanliness, and physical health. (1 Corinthians 9:27)
If you don't like to cook, I don't mind doing all the cooking myself.
What I'm Looking For
a wife who will...
1. Love the Lord Jesus and His Book, (John 14:23)
2. Appreciate that GOD is FIRST, wife is SECOND, (1 Corinthians 7:15-16)
3. Try not to be a discouragment or hindrance to the works I do for God, (Proverbs 21:19)
4. Care about lost souls, (2 Peter 3:9)
5. Wear modest clothing in public, (1 Timothy 2:9)
6. Be content with a small home, (1 Timothy 6:6-9)
7. Be honest, literal, direct, and blunt about your thoughts, feelings, and desires (at least when asked), (Ephesians 4:25)
8. Be able to smile and laugh once in awhile, (Proverbs 17:22) and
9. Love hugs! (1 Corinthians 7:3)
If you need frequent and long conversations to be happy, I'm not your guy. I would likely not have time to talk more than 1 hour total in a typical week. You say "What kind of a marriage is that?" It's a great marriage if you know why we're here. (1 Corinthians 7:32-34, 15:58, 2 Corinthians 5:15)
