Sarcastic and at times, a dry sense of humor. I enjoy laughter, though not at another's expense. Laughter should not be used to hurt feelings or used to degrade another person.
The ability to carry a conversation on current trends and events is important to me (you got to know what's going on around you). I take care of myself and am looking for someone who takes pride in themselves as well. I can finally say I am becoming comfortable again in my own skin. For me, there is nothing sexier than intelligence, confidence and a woman who wears eyeglasses ;)
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for a friend first. Someone who is professional, career minded and goal oriented. A Lady. Someone who will challenge me, stand with me, listen and get to know me. She may be afraid at times, but that fear does not control who she is. Her past is hers alone, meaning, she does not live in it, but has learned from it and chooses to share what she wishes. She has an inner strength, but her gentleness and kindness is not a weakness. Like me, she laughs because she has known sadness and loss and she will not quit. She won't back down and isn't afraid to get dirty. She'll stand on her own, but may ask, or take my hand whenever she'd like. But above all else, I'll be her shield.
