About Me
I am very easy going and my interests are wide and varied ranging from cruise lines to coffee shops to Central Park to concerts to off-Broadway plays to movies to cuddling on the couch to a good hug and pretty much everything in between with the exception of bungy jumping or roller coasters and we are okay. I have a thing about heights.
I like classic rock and roll, the blues, southern rock, some classical, some country - not much into rap or lady gaga. I like the Allman Brothers, Beethoven, Beatles, BB King, Billy Joel, Charlie Daniels, Chuck Berry, Earth, Wind and Fire, Eric Clapton, Heart, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, Little Feat, Lynyrd Skynard, Neil Young, Nickelback, Peter Frampton, Ray Charles, Rod Stewart, Smashmouth, Santana, Wagner.
I'm an undying romantic and wear my heart on my sleeve, kind, considerate, loving, down to earth, non-judgmental. I see people for who they are: not the car, the house, the money.
After a long gap I have begun divulging my efforts back into writing poetry again and submitted three to The New Yorker hoping for approval. I am a fan of James****y, Dan Masterson, John Allman, Mark Strand, Paul Muldoon, Dylan Thomas, Sylvia Plath.
I would consider myself a Renaissance man in the modern age. I like to write and when I am in a relationship I become inspired, the muse is my winged-angel cast forth upon cupid's wings, his arrow my pen, the heavens my parchment.
I am a down to earth, selfless, jeans and tee shirt kind of guy and don't sweat the small stuff.
I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I am a good father to my 18 y/o son.
What I'm Looking For
I’m looking for my last first date that contains that certain Je ne sais quois, that spark.
I would like to find someone with similar interests and differences to keep the relationship interesting. Someone who writes would be a great prerequisite or someone who enjoys reading, someone I can share my poetry with.
I want someone who is down to earth and takes things as they come, no stress.
