About Me
Well, a little about myself... I am optimistic, a realist (and no, these two things do not cancel themselves out, unless you're a pessimist, and then they probably do). I'm kind, honest, caring, sincere, and ridiculously sarcastic. I love to laugh and have fun doing everything. I'm usually up for just about anything. I am definitely a jack of all trades, and a master of none - which is fine by me! I'm a dog lover, foodie (oh, and you have a problem with this word, get over it - people stress too much about this stuff), wine snob, a Francophile, and an amateur chef.
I've lived a pretty hodgepodge life. I've lived a lot of places and done a lot of things - some good and some that could have been better. I'm originally from Southern California. I lived there for 21 years. In the past decade I've lived in 3 different states and two countries (NY, ME, GA, and Paris, France) before settling back into NYC about three years ago. Whew! I know, it's a lot. I promise, I'm not running from the law, I just really like change and adventure.
I'm also really good at being ME! I'm always me no matter what. I'm a big girl... I'm tall, curvy, and have a lot of self confidence - and I make no apologies for any of that. I like who I am, just as I am, no matter what.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a man who knows how to be a gentleman. Someone who loves dogs, and I mean love... not just like. Someone who is looking for their best friend and life companion, because that is what I desire. Someone I can be myself around and they can be that around me. Someone is is fulfilled with who who they are. Someone emotionally mature and knows how to care for and love someone in a relationship. Someone who knows how to joke around and have a good time and doesn't take life too seriously. And someone who knows how to effectively communicate in a relationship - I'm pretty assertive and have a hard time with people who are passive aggressive.
