About Me
I am a trusting, positive and introspective person. I enjoy conversation because I feel that we all have much to learn from each other. I also can enjoy silence; I'm not a person who has to fill every moment with chatter. I've also been told I come off as shy and quiet at first but I warm up quickly. I'm comfortable with who I am and don't like to pretend. I try to always be truthful and direct, but kind. I have come to appreciate that fine line. I'd prefer to be outside rather than in, and warm rather than cold. I enjoy going out with friends but also don't mind a quiet evening at home. I think I'm happiest on, or near the water. I grew up around boats, and have most recently taken up kayaking; so far it's been all flat water but I'm excited to stretch my wings in coming seasons. Family is important to me, though mine is spread across the country so I don't see them much.
What I'm Looking For
If I was to take a chance at describing the person I'd like to spend my time with she'd be, thoughtful, caring and not consumed by material things. For me it's kind of simple. I don't want to feel like I have to work at being in a relationship. If being together doesn't feel natural, it isn't.
