About Me
-1.Short Description of me:
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at IPFW. I love the outdoors, hanging out with friends, reading books and playing video games. I enjoy a good puzzle and love a challenge. If you dont find me doing any of that i will either have my hands dirty tinkering with something that needs fixed or sitting back and watching a good movie. I'm a quiet guy at first, but once you get to know me i'm a lot of fun. I don't care what anybody thinks of me and i act really goofy sometimes, but just because i want to have fun and have a good time. If you earn my trust, i am one guy you can always count on.
-2.What I'm doing with my life:
I am studying to be a Mechanical Engineer at IPFW and am hoping to also get an art studio together so i can do more pottery. I hope one day to have an entire art stuido dedicated to my hobbies. There are so many crafts i want to try, everything from black smithing to glassblowing and everything in between. I'm sure it will be tons of fun.
-3.Things i'm good at:
I'm awesome at fixing things. More often than not if something breaks i will try taking it apart and fixing it. I suceed most of the time. I'm also really good with computers. Besides that i do dabble in art, pottery if by far my favorite.
-4.Favorite things of mine:
My favorite book series is The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Other than that i am a huge fan of SciFi, fantasy and really anything with magic, technology or both in it. So naturally i am a big fan of Tom Clancy, Michael Crichton, Dean Koontz, Stephen King and of course J.K. Rowling.
My favorite show (its canceled now, but still) is Stargate SG-1. Other shows i enjoy are just about anything on SciFi, history or discovery. I also love The Big Bang Theory, The Amazing Race and Big Brother. And the ones i dont follow closely are criminal minds, the mentalist and dexter. I still have quite a bit of catching up to do online on those.
I love country, rock and techno music. Some of favorite artists are Ozzy, AC/DC, Metallica, Toby Keith, Rascal Flats, Daft Punk, Van Canto, and Deadmau5.
It sounds lame but my favorite food is Pizza, you can do a lot more than just pepperoni with it too.
My favorite movie of all time is "The Rock" staring Sean Connery (my favorite actor) and Nicholas Cage. Other big favorites of mine include StarShip Troopers, all the Star Wars movies, The Event Horizion, Matrix, Waiting, SpaceBalls, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Super Troopers and tons more. I couldnt possibly list all the movies i love here.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a girl who is at least a little nerdy and is a little out there. Somebody who i can connect with over books, games, or movies. A girl who can keep up with me gaming, recommend me a good book and can tell me their favorite movie quotes while helping me fix something is ideal. I want someone who isn't afraid to let things get serious and wont just give up and run away when life gets tough.
