About Me
I am semi-retired. I work 30 hours on the weekend with an intellectually challenged young man. I am an avid reader. I love computers. I have 1 son, 42, and one granddaughter, 23. I am very family oriented. I was married 28 years to a wonderful man who died at age 46. I remarried at age 51 and divorced at age 56. I enjoy music of almost all types--no Hip Hop or Rap and do not like hootnanny music although I live in the folk capital of the world--it seems. I have traveled a lot, and never found any place I like or enjoy more than the Ozarks. I worked as a medical transcriptionist for 35 years. I am enjoying this time in my life.
After filling out the total who I'm looking for I find out the About Me must be the problem, I keep clicking submit and can't. I must be computer or instruction challenged. I have hiked the grand canyone twice rim to rim and stayed at Phantom ranch. The last time I thought I might freeze to death so I'm done with that. I love to travel in the southwest. But, Arkansas isn't bad either.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for a someone with similar interests. Just someone to go fishing with, to a movie, or just out to dinner occasionally. A single man, taller than I. I am 5'8".I am not looking for a anything serious. Just a friend . I have been on my own for a long time, and it suits me but sometimes would like to have a grown up conversation --something not possible at my work. I think a widower might understand me better than a man who has never lost the love of his life.
Gheez, this keeps saying I have too many blank spaces or to many long words. I was trying to keep this short. Ok, to fill in--I am looking for a good looking man. But, average looking would be fine. Keep in mind I am just fillin in space. Someone that lives relatively close would be nice too. I drive all the time for my work and am not interested in traveling a long way to meet someone. Maybe that will fill in my blanks!! Ok, that didn't work. I am looking for someone with a sense of humor but not that knows a bazillion jokes. Most people don't like smoker--since I smoke I do not mind.
